Activities in D-BOX

RadioLabs will be involved in the scenarios and users needs assessment, contributing to the survey of practices and existing tools. Then it will participate to the design, development and demonstration of the Toolbox, mainly contributing to:

  • Navigation aspects: low-cost solutions for accurate position logging; porting/adaptation of mid-low cost technologies and solutions (i.e. precision farming, animal tracking systems);

ICT support in the field: definition of applications and selection of robust hardware for Mine Action field operations, to equip operators with an easy to use tool to access geo-information in the field, even when they are offline and to improve the quality of data from the beginning.
